ProgressionFinishing a Pixel Lineage run without losing a life
A run only pays out if the character survives it. The three lives are a budget, and losing the last one wipes the character, so the goal on a risky route is to leave with the drops rather than to clear at any cost.
Use the Return Home option in the bottom-left corner to exit a run and keep the character. Bosses drop better gear than regular enemies, and higher difficulties raise drop quality further, so difficulty selection is part of the farming plan.

- Race Evolution and the Ultra Class both sit behind harder content, which means the reward for raising difficulty is permanent power rather than just loot.
